WE

About Lodge

We are seasoned craftsmen.

Lodge Cast Iron has been making heirloom-quality cookware and accessories since 1896. We currently operate two foundries in South Pittsburg, Tennessee, our home since the very beginning. Backed by over 125 years of experience, each piece of Lodge cookware is crafted for durability and versatility. We don't just make cookware — we make memories that last for generations.

About Lodge

We stay true to our roots.

Our story begins in 1877 when Joseph Lodge moved to South Pittsburg, Tennessee. As a fifth-generation, family-owned company, our founder's legacy of quality cookware and innovation continues to this day.

We are creators.

Making cast iron cookware is just plain cool! We pour a mix of molten iron and steel into sand molds to create solid, durable pieces of cookware that will last for generations.

We do the right thing.

We do the right thing.

We are dedicated to reducing our impact on the environment. Over the years, we have developed company-wide recycling programs, uncovered ways to reuse foundry sand, switched to biodegradable packing materials, and invested in foundry equipment that reduces pollution and minimizes energy consumption.

Welcome to Pittsburg

We are in this together.

We are deeply invested in the South Pittsburg community and surrounding area. This Tennessee town has been our home since the beginning, and it's our ethical duty to take care of the people who have helped shaped Lodge Cast Iron into the successful company it is today.

We support various charities, fundraising initiatives and other programs that have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to help people and the community.
