Lodge Cast Iron Foundation Auction 2026
The Joel Schiff Collection
The Lodge Cast Iron Foundation will be auctioning off approximately 1400 items from the collection of beloved cast iron fan and collector Joel Schiff. After his death in 2015, Joel’s family donated thousands of pieces to the Lodge Cast Iron Foundation. Now, we're auctioning rare and antique iron from the collection to support the charitable mission of the Foundation.
Auction Details
Friday, June 12 & Saturday, June 13
Join in person at 301 South Cedar Avenue, South Pittsburg, TN 37380 (ticket required). Or participate via simulcast online on AuctionZip.com (no ticket required).
The auction will be administered by Dinky’s Auction Center, ID #18776.
Tickets for in-person bidding include a free BBQ lunch, free entry to the Museum of Cast Iron, and a 10% discount to the Lodge Factory Store.
Preparing for the auction
Ticketing
Tickets are only required if you intend to participate in the auction in person, at 301 South Cedar Avenue, South Pittsburg, TN.
Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. The ticket price goes towards the Lodge Foundation, making it tax deductible.
On-site auction
The building for the auction is not air conditioned, so please dress appropriately for June in eastern Tennessee.
Portable restrooms will bd available.
The entire event is handicap accessible.
There will be vegetarian options for the free lunch included with your ticket.
Auction specifics
Items won on-site can be collected at the end of the auction. Items won online can be picked up in person at Lodge in South Pittsburg, TN, or at Dinky's in Montgomery, IN. Items won online can also be shipped from Dinky's and will be arranged at buyer's expense.
All auction proceeds go to the Lodge Foundation and are tax deductible.
