Directions
- Mix beef and chorizo together until well incorporated.
- Portion mixture into 6 equal patties, season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Refrigerate while you prep the rest of the ingredients.
- Mix mayo, chipotle pepper, and lime together, and season with salt and pepper. Set aside.Β
- In a small bowl, mix avocado smash ingredients together until just combined. Youβll want to keep it on the chunky side. Set aside.Β
- Preheat square grill pan over medium-high heat for 5 minutes.Β
- Oil the grill pan and sear patties in batches for 3-5 minutes per side, until cooked through.Β Β
- While the patties are grilling, oil the cut sides of the slider buns and set aside.Β
- Once the patties are done, grill the buns for 30 seconds and remove from the grill pan. Be careful not to overdo it.Β Β
- Assemble sliders: bun, chipotle mayo, patty, avocado smash, queso fresco, sliced jalapeno, bun.
