Behind the Design of the 2020 Made In America Skillet
On International Women's Day in 2020, we released a Rosie the Riveter Skillet as the next design in our Made in America™ Series. For us, Rosie the Riveter represents and highlights the important role women have played in our country’s rich manufacturing history. We were overwhelmed by the excitement surrounding this design and loved hearing your stories. Thank you for your support of this special release.
Due to popular demand, we’ve brought Rosie back to stay with the new release of the We Can Do It Skillet. Cast with the famous “We Can Do It” message and beloved Rosie the Riveter, we hope to celebrate the outstanding achievements women bring to the workforce every day.

Rosie the Riveter has long represented a symbol of American feminism and a celebration of women’s economic advancement in our country’s history. It’s no coincidence that the release of this skillet design, as part of Lodge’s Made in America Series™, accompanies the 100th anniversary of the 19th amendment—women’s right to vote. When the skillet was available to purchase, the price of the skillet is $19.20, to celebrate this date in history.
