New Lodge Distribution Center Complete
Our new distribution center is complete! Take a look inside the 212,000 square-foot space that will help move Lodge into the future.

Our new distribution center is located across the Tennessee River from our main campus, accessed by crossing South Pittsburg's iconic blue Shelby Reinhart Bridge.
The facility, which covers 212,000 square feet of space, can be expanded another 300,000 square feet in the future, if needed, to meet demand. The building nearly doubles our current storage capacity.

The construction of the new center began in June 2016 and was designed to have an extremely flat floor allowing employees to use wire-guided lift trucks to move inventory stacked on shelves in the 50-foot-high complex. The floor has a variance of less than .0015 of an inch across the building that spans nearly four football fields. Today, workers can be found buzzing around on these lifts preparing shipments of cast iron cookware for customer and retailers in more than 55 countries around the world.
The facility currently houses 33 aisles of shelving that hold products ranging from seasoned cast iron skillets to enameled Dutch Ovens.

Lodge was founded in South Pittsburg, Tennessee in 1896 and has produced American-made cast iron cookware in the same location for over 120 years. You can watch how we make cast iron in our Tennessee foundry in this behind-the-scenes video.
