Special Logo Skillets Commemorating New Lodge Foundry
Less than two months ago, we turned our second cast iron cookware foundry online at our campus in South Pittsburg, Tennessee. To commemorate its opening, we had the first 12 skillets produced at the new facility engraved with a special logo, and we are giving them away to our fans on social media.

The first items run at our new foundry included one of our most iconic items, the 12 inch cast iron skillet. To celebrate the opening of the new facility, we saved the first 12 skillets run on the new line and engraved them with a special logo. Four of the 12 skillets will remain at Lodge, but eight of these skillets we plan to give away on social media and at special events in the future. We are giving away one of these special skillets today. Click here to enter the giveaway for one of the limited edition First Pour skillets. The giveaway ends on Monday, January 15 at 8:00 a.m. Central Time.
We broke ground on our new facility in mid-2016 and had our first production run there on November 20, 2017. This foundry does not replace our first foundry, but will operate alongside it to increase our capacity. The new foundry, nicknamed the 3rd Street Foundry, includes a melt center with two induction furnaces, a sand system, and two sand molding machines. The foundry increases our manufacturing capacity by 75%.
