Progress Made on New Lodge Foundry
We're making quick progress on our new cast iron foundry in South Pittsburg, Tennessee! Here's an update on our construction so far:

We broke ground on the new 127,000 square foot Lodge foundry in mid-2016. It is located in South Pittsburg, Tennessee on the same campus as our current foundry and will be operational later this year.

When the facility is complete we expect to employ 92 more people in the local area than we did before. The new foundry includes a melt center, sand system, and two sand molding machines, increasing our manufacturing capacity by 75%. We are also nearing the completion of a 200,000 square foot warehouse located a few miles away, just across the Tennessee River from our main campus.
